The Compliment Thread

I felt we need some more positive energy in life and thought about a compliment thread; A place to drop a compliment to a fellow member here on the forum. Life is rough enough without adding more hostility to the mix and compliments are in short supply considering the bleak future we all may face.

I'll start with a general compliment for everyone. I am happy to be a member of a forum with a great group of people. And once again, to thank Luciano for starting this forum. It was a great move and it appears many are settling in nicely. I can honestly say I haven't been able to do so as long as Scam was around. Then again, when most of the 'cream of the crop' from Scam relocated here, it was inevitable, LOL.

So if anyone is having a drink tonight, raise your glass/bottle and toast to our friends and forum here. It's a pleasure getting to know each of you.

Well let me say. First off Grim17. I really don't agree with him, though he has this ability to let things slide. I have noticed in the time he has posted he will attack the issue most of the time, and not the person. Sure he lets me have it times. Though this was just due to the fact I didn't know what the hell I was talking about.

Of course Grim I always feel I know what I am talking about.

Darn Internet always has to have people who don't agree with me.

I've got to keep adding names to this but I'm gonna start with Luciano. He did a great job giving us a home and he set the tone for friendly fighting.
Plus, he's got a very young family and it's tough enough doing something like this yet even with the responsibilities he has in his personal life, he made made a home for us.

I would like to say a word or two for the moderators here. They have a thankless job to do and I for one would not want it. They volunteer their time and effort and get nothing in return. So I say this to all here. We all know the rules. If we break them we have no one to thank but ourselves. Well, it seems like anywhere in human society that people gather, there follows a need to have a "governing force". a.k.a. moderator. However, here, I haven't seen any need so far for this sort of control to be applied, as there seems to be a pretty civil bunch here [I haven't ever visited the Political Forum, as yet. Don't know that I ever wiill. Makes me weary].
However, it is good to have people that are available to exercise 'oversight' regarding development of things. One of the major reasons that I think that things are NOT problematic is that there is no allowance for frauds, troll and scammers to come on here.. One thing that really taxes me, wears on me, is people that are attempting to promote fraudelent schemes and are attemtping to persuade people that it isn't. But then, the first thing that they have to rely on is that they are natural born liars. All else follows, after that.
Anyhow; thanks to the moderators here...

I haven't had the opportunity to know you that long, but in that short time, you have gained my respect as one whom appears to have a good judge of character and a good knowledge of many subjects. It appears that you take the time to do some reading and research and not merely dropping a one lined stool sample like some others have on Scam. You are a very perspicacious person and aren't afraid to dish out the dirt if someone is acting like a tool.
