Re: bug thread.........
Orchid Mantids are the most beautiful of all the species mate, just as shame they lose much of their pink as they get to adulthood.

It is a lot of money, but I would get more pleasure from bringing a stunning piece of nature into my home, like that, than waste it on going out and getting p*****, these days.

Even one as an exhibit would be quite something, though?
When you buy a T, you don't always buy a pair of the same species, do ya?

Re: bug thread.........
Here's a thought, everyone can chime in.
Ants. V successful species. Why? They have been around so long. We have been here the blink of an eye compared to ants.
Ants, like man, are social creatues. This doesn't mean they enjoy a beer, merely that they live in societies, colonies.
If ants had a political system it would be communism, I suppose, since they all work for the common good, no ant is better than another, they have no system of money, and their is great uniformity in all things!
Anyway, in an ant colony, the older an ant gets, the further it is predisposed to forage or go on look out, from it's nest.
Of course, it is taking greater risks by doing so, since ants have many enemeies, but you see the logic?
As an older ant, it is going to die soon anyway, therefore, why risk the life of a younger ant, over one that may only have a short time left?
If the same principle was applied to humans, it would literally be pensioners who would man our tanks and aircraft, since, in terms of species, they would be most 'dispensable', if you see what I mean?
