Yep he was, is and always be " HIM " He more than likely drove Burt Reynolds crazy with his antics at times.

Re: So long Dom Deluise
I just read this...One less funny man, sad...So, over the next couple of days, I am going to do a Dom movie festival...Mostly I will concentrate on Mel Brook's work, specifically, The 12 Chairs (a classic, "Come on Brain!!!") History of the World Part 1 ("Bring me a small Lyre!!..."Tweasure Baaath!!!...Wash that!) And Blazing Saddles (I can't for the life of me remember his character?) and even the wholly un-funny Robinhood MIT...But maybe not that one, but I own it so...

his character was some type of director of the dance sequence during the last 5 minutes of the movie...the character name was buddy bizzare

seems like The End was a bit underrated ( if you can possibly underrate a Burt film )
The End and Hooper were both released in 1978....in both movies Burt's character was named Sonny.
I guess they tried to make it easy on Burt so he could remember his character's name.
Kind of like Tony Danza...every character he has ever played was named Tony.
