Airbrushed. I have seen pics of some of them on a 'normal' day, and they are nothing special, at all.

Indeed, I see prettier women in the street, almost every day.

Those that have run you down, in the past?

even if some of them are airbrushed there still very skinny and beautiful just makes ya wanna be like them

i know the girls are beautiful, trust me lol
but like the vision to others of beauty isn't gd really, like mopdels and stuff are way too skinny so girls think, right that's what i shud look like cus if not i will look fat

Self image is a powerful thing, sure enough.

Used to go out with a girl, pathological about getting a boob op.

I advised against it, as she seemed to think it would be the answer to all her troubles.

She went out and got it anyway.

Her troubles remained.

Physical beauty is good, of course, but it really is what is within that also goes a long way.

Looks fade.

Fashions change.

but if it's in ur head there aint much u can do about it is there? i mean councellers only see u if it's a health problem and that's only if you can prove it

they still aint helped me with my depression because the doctors didn't believe that me trying to 'top myself' a few years ago was a big issue or threat lol

so i can;t really get help for it, im trying my work out at the moment but that's difficult too cus i have this illness (nothing too serious) that makes me sick when i work out lol but im trying to work that out which will hopefully work

You really don't need to put to much stock into what other people think. Sometimes people are cruel without even realizing it. Just be yourself and you will find that more folks will accept you for what you are rather than for what they want you to be. You will find that this is more so true as you get older and come into contact with more mature people.

There is an old saying, " To thine own self be true " It is very true.

And if you ever need to just talk there are a lot of really great folks here that will do just that. sometimes it can help just letting of a little steam and having someone to listen to you. A lot of us here may have been through similar problems and have learned to deal with them.

I remember my little period of depression. Not something I was accustomed to, nor prone to, nor wish on anyone. It's a nasty devil, and it gets compounded by people that are honestly trying to help but just don't understand. And made worse by people that are just cruel. I do wish you luck working through it. It finally seemed to pass with me. I hope it soon lifts from you that easily.

I think there are some things that must be kept out of sight, unviewed, unknown in order that we humans that have such a great tendency to rush to profane things will have something which remains that we can still respect, admire and appreciate.
After all, our customarily seeing each other nude [which for many is not a very pretty sight] will quickly become something that is despised and loathed. I think there would be an increase in abuse and violence, because our clothing sends a symbolic symbol that we have evolved [or should have, for some] above our crude, anaminalistic natures. In a way it serves to remind us that we should act and bechave civily. although this doesn't often have any effect on some.

You need only look at some of the attire worn by Muslim women to see this.

They are not just hung up about nudity, they cover up like a freaking Ninja.
