It is really a shame that many of our folks in the armed services will come home all over the country to this. And not just here, but those that served from other countries in Europe as well.

We are in a lot of trouble.

California has reached one million unemployed. The county were I live is at 17% unemployment. The county next to mine is at 26%.

I think one of the major problems is NAFTA. I won't try to pretend I know NAFTA inside and out. I do know that since it was put into action. The economy has gone to hell. Slowly at first. Though now we are really seeing the effects of it, I feel.

If I am wrong on this please let me know.

California is handing out IOUS. This isn't the first time either.

California for crying out loud. The eighth largest economy in the world.

Of course it is not just California. Looking at the stats provided by the links. Most of nation is in trouble big time.

I am really lucky I have a job. Though I was unemployed for about six weeks, and in this economy that was damn scary.

The thing is, if things continue to spiral downward. Even me as a truck driver may find myself out a job. Heck it was not easy after I wound up unemployed.
