Was it down to a genetic fluke, or bred to look that way?

Looks like one of the hairless dogs I've seen before. Looks like he was just old and blind. If he died at 14, that would make him 98 in people years.
OT is 98 in dog years. clown

Ah, come on, you're probably a lot younger than you lead us to believe. Very Happy

What's her secret? And I bet she has a shot everyday, too. Suspect

It would.

But as a dog owner myself, I have always found this a rather silly way of measuring a dogs life, don't you?

Just a thought...

That was my point. We have our "civilized rules of law" dictating what is already provided by nature. Our "overpopulation" is a byproduct. If left to ONLY nature, it may not be so. Our competitive nature is also a part of it. If we encourage/ensure the need/right to procreate, and suppress our basic competitive nature, it becomes unbalanced. Nature, except for humans, remains balanced, until humans interfere. We prevent the natural course of balance.

Two reasons I had a vasectomy eight years ago.
1. I want to sleep again.
2. Two kids is enough for any family (my opinion).
3. 6 billion people already inhabit the earth and the negative effect it has on the earth is more apparent everyday.

ok three reasons. Wink

DITTO... I had tubes tied after #2 Child. Three very good reasons especially #3

That they are all up to no good, hang around in gangs, getting drunk, and being anti social.

This sort of anti social behaviour does go on.

But is it on the increase?

That is the crux of the matter.

If it has increased, then we must seek a reason...
