I'll be celebrating you K and all our other Aussies. Boston is Melbourne's only US Sister City and we'll be partying the night away here!

Re: Happy Australia Day!
As Jackson, Wyoming is probably one of the most visited towns in the world by folks from all over the world as they come here to see Yellowstone Park and for the skiing, there are those of us here that like to think that we have seen a little bit of everyone here.
So from all of us to all of you happy world day to all. And a special Hello and happy Aussie day to all of our Australian friends and visitors from the great down under.

Re: Happy Australia Day!
Thanks everyone, Happy Australia day to all.
I would have posted yesterday, when it was actually Australia day, but I was having a BBQ and drinking beer on the beach. Damn I love this country .
HP. I had no idea Boston was one of Melbourne's sister cities. I had only heard of some Japanese one. Even more reason for me to visit .

Re: Happy Australia Day!
Boston is loaded with Aussies, K. We have all kinds of Down Under stuff going on all year long, just in my town alone, nevermind state-wide. The ties to Australia are very strong in MA and Bostonians adore "all thing Australian"-kind of like a very long standing tradition/cult thing!Kazza wrote:Thanks everyone, Happy Australia day to all.

By and large, Aussies have an easier time then most locating jobs and moving here, because, hey, Boston loves you! There are all kinds of teams here to deal with the usual red tape and get Aussies "in"!

Yeah, well we got something that Boston don't have. We have the most unusual and beautiful park in the world. If ya go a visiting ya have to drop by this neck of the woods.

Well you must know that the invite is for you as well my dear HP. Linda thinks the same also. But you know that you have more folks in Boston alone than we do in our whole state.

Which park is that? I went to Yosemite last time I was there. That was pretty awesome.
