What happened to the reports from the hopey/changers in the liberal media that stated President George W Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney were torturing prisoners?

You folks in the media can start printing up that retraction any time .....no rush , take your time.

Review Finds Detainees' Treatment Legal
Pentagon Report on Guantanamo Urges More Interaction for Some, Official Says

A Pentagon review ordered by President Obama mostly approves of conditions at the Guantanamo Bay prison, says an official who has read it. (By Brennan Linsley -- Associated Press)

A Pentagon review of conditions at the Guantanamo Bay military prison has concluded that the treatment of detainees meets the requirements of the Geneva Conventions but that prisoners in the highest-security camps should be allowed more religious and social interaction, according to a government official who has read the 85-page document.

The report, which President Obama ordered, was prepared by Adm. Patrick M. Walsh, the vice chief of naval operations, and has been delivered to the White House. Obama requested the review as part of an executive order on the planned closure of the prison at the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, on the southeastern tip of Cuba.[

It would appear... according to the article you posted, that a challenge is being put together.

...Civil liberties groups, including the Center for Constitutional Rights, which is about to issue a report on conditions at the prison, challenged Walsh's findings.

"We do think conditions are in violation of U.S. obligations to treat prisoners humanely, and prisoners are at a physical and mental breaking point," said Pardiss Kebriaei, a staff lawyer at the center. "These are not the conclusions we had hoped for under Obama. It's very disappointing."

Attorneys representing detainees singled out force-feeding as particularly abusive.

Sums it up really, they are hardly going to incriminate themselves now.

LOL - Frank in "No prisoners have been hurt or abused" shocker! affraid

What a Face

Frank, as those who know of your posting style by now, a million could have been killed in G/Bay, and you, and those with more abilities to do it than you, would be working out ways in which you could deny it.

People have always inclined towards denial of the dark side of our behaviours.

There are those that would deny that there were mass exterminations in the camps during the Reich.

They will bring forward their evidence to debunk claims of mass killings and other assorted human violations.

What is the difference, Frank?

What is the difference between you stating that those who have made allegations of wrong doing are liars and the person that denies that those in German camps were not violated?

Thanks
