A sad day for America. Empty A sad day for America.

Post by Old Timer Mon Dec 21, 2009 11:07 am

This morning I read on the web that the 58 democrats and the two independents voted on the health care bill and it will now pass. I have written many emails to many senators of all parties and asked if they had actually read the entire bill and if they actually knew just what it really contained. Did it contain things that were only health related or did it also contain many other things that had absoultly nothing to do with the reform of america's health insusrance. To date I have never got even one single reply from anybody

We now have a dictatorship in this country of ours. We now have a president that had absoultly no qualifications that was shooed into the office. We now have a president that has been challenged to prove his citizenship and has steadfastly refused to. We now have a president that wants his own private army. We now have a president that has a shadow government in place ( his czars ). We now have a president that is hell bent on driving this country into bankruptcy. Hillary has pledged 100 billion to aid other countries in a cause that no one can control. The weather and global warming which is a natural occuring thing. As it is our government is now broke yet they contiunue to try and spend money like all they have to do is just keep printing the stuff and all is well. When is it goi8ng to end?

I received a letter from social security telling that there was no cost of living increase and there woul;d be no increase in my check, which in all probability I and many others will no longer be getting before long. They sure don't live where I do and have seen prices go way up. Those politicians do not care. They pay not taxes on social security and get their salary for life and make many times more than the ordinary citizen does. Yet they tell us we don't need any more money.

America is now entering her death throes and I am saddened that I am still alive to see it.The people of this great country had better wake and stop this maddness before it is to late. But I really do doubt that will happen. Mainly because the attitude here has become, well let someone else do it cause I really don't want to get involved.

yaaaaawwwwwnnnnn... Arrow I suppose if it was George Bush and Dick Cheney that were previously in the 'driver's seat' and who, with HIS cabinet made the big mess we are in that what is going on there now would be 'peachy keen'. But, they got their pay-off and now the gates to the 'sheep-pen' have been left open and let the social destruction begin; and it has.
If those in D.C. would just be ethical, moral and humane, ALL that is, then perhaps we could get a health care SYSTEM established for we the people.
As it is, all the self-proclaimed moralist and conscienceable individuals that are meat-cleavering the hell out of ANYTHING that appears good and proper for the people that they are [gasp] supposed to serve. As it is, they are all cozy with their personal health-care programs and couldn't care less about the citizens. All they mostly are interested in is cow-toweing to the insurance companies, doctors, pharmacetical businesses and other [gasp] 'special interest businesses and individuals that have given money to their 'campaign coffers' so that they can be assured of out-moneying their opponents at the next [gasp] election [mostly farcial anymore]. After all, these 'offices' are mostly bought and the individuals are owned by these special interest. All the while they are thinking, operating and functioning to look to their personal 'life-boat' job; some CEO position, or the likes, in one of the companies of these 'special interest individuals, or entities, if and when they are voted out of their position.
Rsst assured, they, the Cheney's, Bush's and the CEOs of the big corporations and the filthy rich will not shed a tear or have a pang of conscious on christmas morning or at the feast table, in their cozy, luxurious back in the trees secluded mansions, while the over seven million that have lost their jobs and the millions that have lost their homes, that are being auctioned off to the highest bidder misery-follower buyers; some have commited suicide, some are seriously ill, some are in homeless shelters or living with relatives and there isn;'t much reason to celebrate or make merry.
If only the great majority of Americans would wake up and realize that it is all of them that are [gasp; supposed] to be representing us as OUR government, not just those that some individual is prone to identify [OR thinks] is/are their representatives. For that matter, the whole thing is a farce and ACTUALLY, the wealthy and big corporations is/are our government and all they car about is our servitude and what more wealth they can exploit from us.
Example: the CEO of AIG recently whining because he ONLY is paid a salary of 450,000.00/annually [no mention of millions in bonuses] and pursuantly was awarded a salary increase of $4,300,000.00. May I please ask ANYONE here that has the intellectual insight to explain to me what any individual human being, especially in a no labor and work-a-day world situation does to justify paying their sorry sit on their ass and bullshit individual, this kind of money? Other than their being a part of the special influence game that goes on at/and in the 'top echelon of our society.
I think it would be fitting to isolate all of their such ilk on to a specific part of the planet and then pray really hard that a big meteor would hit that area and just knock them off out into space. I think humanity would be much more better off without them. Especially since is is due to the likes of them that people lose their jobs, their homes and their families are broken up due to the stress of social instability. Actually, socially, they are the worst parasites on the planet.
Otherwise, I suppose that if anything good, benefical or worthwhile comes out of this health care program you and many others that are griping, criticizing and carping will be there to take advantage of the benefits and help.
In the meantime, send special holiday thoughts out to AIG, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, all the big Banks and mortage companies that gamble with peoples lives and happiness and to the upper echelon of the Federal Aviation Administration individuals that just held a big blow-out gathering and party at the Hilton Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, to the tune of $5,000,000.00 taxpayer dollars. The same thing [gasp 'business] that they conducted there could have been accomplished to concerned parties over the Internet, such system which was already established and available to do the job. And for probably less than one percent of what was spent in Atlanta.
And, in the meatime, the big Banks have declared that they will 'hold-off' mortgage foreclosures on any further citizens's homes until the 15th of January, 2010. They desire to appear that they have a conscious and care. But actually, they fear the further uproar and hatred that has been directed against them for the past and present dirty work that they have already accomplished. Rest assured, there are list already compiled and resting on the desk and ready for proceedings on 01/15/2010.
And in closing, lest it be mentioned the virtually $21,000,000.00 that the Pharmaceutical companies payed to the Lobbyist to represent them to; guess who?, Senators and Congress-persons, in the manner of the government NOT ALLOWING American Citizens to have access to Canadian, Mexican and other foreign Pharmaceutical prescription medicines and equipment, which are much cheaper. Their suggested reasoning ; makes one want to barf and really depicts how criminal and broken our representations - their logical reasoning is: these drugs and equipmnet may and could be counterfeit. Like they really care. Their real ploy is to have American Citizens held hostage with their threatened health well being to the greatly inflated and 'high-way robbery' prices that citiznes now pay; holfding people's health and well being hostage for more big bucks to gorge the greedy bank accounts of those CEOs in these businesses.

Is this what you was looking for?

Let the dictation begin. I wonder how long it will be before they pass the bill changing our countries name to USUS, (United Socialist United States).
