This fight is for more than the belts at stake. This is for the title 'Best Pound for Pound Boxer in the World'.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. was regarded as the Best Pound for Pound Boxer until he retired last year. So that has left the question, who is it now?

Many people say it's Pacquiao, some say it's Hatton.

Pacquiao has never been beaten. He has held belts in 4 different weight classes (going for the 5th this weekend).

Hatton has only lost one fight in his career and that was to Floyd Mayweather.

Pacquiao is faster. Hatton is bigger. Pacquiao has knock out power. Hatton has a brick chin. Pacquiao has never fought at welterweight so he's never been hit as hard as Hatton hits. Hatton has made people quit with his body punches.

Will the extra weight be too much for Pacquiao and slow him down? Will Hatton be able to handle Pacquiao's blinding speed? How is Pacquiao going to handle the big body shots of Hatton?

We are in for an instant classic. I can't wait!!

Not really a fan, but I will watch a fight from time to time. It's about the only sport I can sit and watch. Been awhile though.

For those of you who didn't see the fight, here's a recap.

Pacquiao came out the much faster fighter. Hatton was knocked down twice in the first round. He made it out of the round and was obviously shocked at just how fast Pacquiao really was.

Round - 2 Hatton came out in the second round and did much better. Pacquiao, smelling blood, went for the knockout early, but Hatton fought him off and regained his composure. Just a few seconds left in round two and then, POW!!! Pacuiao landed a vicious left hook that put Hatton out cold. The fight was over, Doctors were in the ring attending to Hatton. They had the smelling salt and flashlights in his eyes and he looked completely lost.

I knew Pacquiao was good (and I actually like both fighters) but holy Sh-- I had no idea he was that good!

In other related boxing news. Floyd Mayweather announced that he was coming out of retirement. He has a fight already scheduled wich will most likely be the warm up fight before they announce the super bout between Mayweather and Pacquiao.

I'll just say that there will never again be anybody in boxing that even come close to the two guys in the following videos. Mostly because no one can match their personalities nor their character. They both could run their mouths, and one could back it up...
