This was a good video! McCain was right on the mark. This ranks right up there with the "deficit we inherited". My only gripe was that Matthews asked his first guest then wouldn't shut-up long enough for him to get his answer out.

Mr. O let it slide this time so the next time will be much easier...

(BTW, I didn't vote for him or McCain)

I DO Not BELIEVE what I just saw and heard:

This pork is paying back political favors. This kinda of thing has been going on for years. It would not of mattered who got elected. The pork will never go away.

Based on that, and the fact that he had a virtual love affair going on with Obama throughout the entire campaign, is why I said in the title of this thread "Hell just froze over".

It's no wonder... The Obama agenda is a radical one for America, that requires a very large financial investment. If the economy was sound, then I could understand him implementing such an agenda (even though I wouldn't support it), but you just can't do it when the economy is like this. Every dime of government money has already been spent (and then some) on his "stimulus", so how in the hell can he possibly expect even democrats to go along with a costly expansion of government and all the pork projects, when there's no money to pay for them?

You know... All I heard from the democrats the last 6 years of the Bush administration, was about how out of control the deficit was. Now look at what they're doing?

Can you imagine if things keep going this way, our kids are going to be dealing with quadrillion dollar figures. Just doesn't seem like that long ago if I had a hundred dollars, I thought I had something. You can barely eat for a couple days on a hundred bucks anymore.

Yes you are correct because continuing to print money that is backed by nothing but the paper it is printed on, and the interest banks charge off it. This is devaluing our dollar. It is becoming worth less and less everyday. Also this leading to people buying less, because it costs more for the same things we have always bought. We all have fixed costs involved in everyday living. Things that we need, not things that we want. The fixed cost for the products we need have risen alot. We are in real trouble right now.

My youngest boy just got his first job a month ago; it's over there at Whole Foods. For the first time ever he went shopping on his dime and bought a pair of khakis and a few shirts for work because all the kid wears is jeans and band t shirts. He came home stunned at how little $100.00 buys and how many hours he had to work for that hundred. These kids are going to have a helluva time affording their own wife and kids, when the time comes.

EXACTLY. and it's amazing that dems don't see it! or do they? - but they don't have the balls and integrity to stand up and put a stop to it.

as i've been watching the first 45? days of this administration unfold, i can't shake the feeling that they are more focused on TIME than they are on what they're actually doing... does that make any sense? it's like they have this obsessive need to 'hurry up and get things in place and deal with any problems we cause later'!! it's all SO CARELESS, because 'later' is where they're gonna find that trillions of dollars have been pissed away on what?????

what they're doing is not going to work - personally i've accepted that. so what now?

That's not as crazy as it sounds. Or at the very least maybe one pres and one vp of two different parties. What we already have isn't very impressive right now, so I say why not try yours, what do we have to lose?
