Anyone get in on a Superbowl grid?
I ask because...
Last night while at the local watering hole, enjoying a martini (or two) I was led to believe that it would be a good idea to buy some squares in the pool...I bought five (10 bucks a square)...
So, this morning I came in for coffee, and proceeded to screw myself somewhat royally...
Here is how it went...
I chose the axis coin toss (Pittsburg down, Arizona accross)...
Then I picked the numbers for both sides...
Here is where the screwing comes in...
Steelers 5 Cards 1 (screwed)
Steelers 5 Cards 3 (screwed)
Steelers 0 Cards 5 (screwed)
Steelers 2 Cards 5 (screwed)
Steelers 9 Cards 9 (not so screwed, but not wonderful either)
The worst part is, I have no one but myself to blame, I am the only scapegoat...
I have also resigned myself to stay in and watch, because the local (and State) enforcers have made it quite clear that they are going to be targeting SB revelers with traps...Why invite trouble? Anyway, I guess I could walk if I really want comradery...

I bet $5 that Gary Russell would score the first TD at 25-1, no bullshit. I won $130.

So OK, I lost. Time for me to pay up on those nickle bets. Just pm me and let me know where to send them. I alwways pay my bets off when I lose. But next time I want a rematch.

Wouldn't it be a rematch if there is a next time?

Well I sure do hope that there is another Super Bowl so I can have a chance to get even. Doesn't matter who would be playing, we can pick teams then.
